Spots have featured heavily in my doodles and art work. It has to relate to my youth when I suffered badly with acne. The blemishes on my beautiful face drove me mad , I tried all sorts of lotions and potions to eradicate them , I even tried washing my face in bleach once and had a skin peel, where the top layer of skin is burnt off by applying a special paste. Dead burnt skin flaked off my face for two weeks. I later saw spots in the work of Cecil Beaton which I loved. They can be decoration as well as a blight
