I got to photograph Tony Berardi through Karen (also in the picture) I was Karen’s horse riding instructor and she worked with Tony. This was taken when he was in hiding after the  stellar success of his first London Fashion Week show and the press were hounding him. It was a cavernous  flat in Cadogan Square.  He was smoking and asked Karen for an ashtray and that was accidentally the picture
