I first came across Tim as an audience member at his show Sex Addict at the Royal Court in 2004. Part of the show was him hooking up with strangers online on Gaydar (I think it was Gaydar) and he marched us all down the Kings Rd to find this hook up- but we couldn’t locate them- maybe they got wind that they were to meet 100 strangers rather than just Tim.
I love his work it’s always cheeky and subversive and very queer. He had his first international success with ‘Resident Alien’ abut Quentin Crisp, starring Bette Bourne (see Bette Bourne post)
