I’ve many pictures of Derek. I often visited him at his flat in Charing X Rd and slept there a few times! He was a lovely man, very indulgent of the young and he was the centre of the queer art scene and the soho milieu that surrounded it. See my story in one of the other posts on Derek.
This picture was taken circa 1982/83 and one of my first of him.
