A few things have happened recently. Firstly my show at the NPG just finished after six months. So sad but being positive they sold quite a few prints and Pink Jack stuff too, so it’s all good. They are all lovely at that gallery, I will miss it, felt a bit like a second home.
I’ve just published my first book! Called The White Camera Diaries. See the post on the home page. I’m really proud of it,so please do check it out. The foreword is by Edmund White, the afterword is by Paul Ibell and the stories are by me… as well as the photographs of course.
I’ve a show of portraits on at The Gallery, 41 Stanhope St, Liverpool. The show looks so good, I’m indebted to James Lawler and Martin Greensound for putting it on. There’s about 50 portraits from the 80s plus letters from lovers such as Edmund White to add context. Also everyone in Liverpool is so friendly, it’s a great place to visit. All the show ends this week.
I’m in a group show at the Salisbury Arts Centre. The show is called ‘In Your Face. Queers Artists’ Versions of Themselves’. It’s on until Nov 4th 2017.
That’s all folks. Do get in touch with any questions, thoughts, ideas. xx
